As the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) here at MaxWell Biosystems, I am looking for an exceptional and highly motivated assistant to work closely with me, help in organizing my activities, and support our commercial team, with the possibility to start in June 2024. Your Responsibilities
- General administrative support: Be a reliable support system for me and the sales team to ensure everything runs smoothly in our fast-paced environment. Ensure that activities and projects that need my attention are on-track.
- Calendar management and event planning: Help keep my schedule organized by coordinating meetings, appointments, activities, and events (internal and external). Assist in planning and organizing team events, workshops, and important meetings. Handle time differences across different customer regions around the world.
- Communication: Be the go-to person for facilitating smooth communication between me and internal and external stakeholders, especially during travel season. Handle incoming calls, support in correspondence via emails, prioritizing and responding appropriately. Coordinate and communicate effectively within the team and across departments to facilitate the execution of projects and initiatives. Can represent our team spirit and culture internally and externally.
- Document preparation: Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents for internal and external meetings, client presentations, and partner discussions. Presentations may be either scientific and non-scientific and will be arranged upon alignment with me and other team members, if necessary. Maintain shared folders where all files are archived.
- Travel arrangements: Support in my travel arrangements and in handling expenses. Provide similar support to the sales team, if necessary.
Your Profile
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in executive assistance or administrative support roles.
- Passion for Science and willingness to learn and adapt to scientific environment.
- Excellent communication in English both written and verbal. German and/or Japanese are a plus.
- Ease with MS Office and IT software
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Quality awareness, flexibility, enthusiasm, team spirit and a can-do mentality.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Account Manager (100%)
As a Key Account Manager, you will be a key representative of MaxWell Biosystems to our customers. You will be involved in sales and support activities, offering the best solutions to ensure the needs of our customers are met. You will be responsible for creating and managing long-term, trusting relationships with our users, as well as developing new business from existing clients with the aim of increasing our sales.

Your Responsibilities

Your Profile
- MS/PhD degree in fields related to neuroscience / biotechnology / physiology
- Established experience in using microelectrode arrays and analyzing microelectrode array datasets – experienced users of MaxWell Biosystems’ HD-MEAs are encouraged to apply
- Knowledgeable in the field of iPSCs / organoids / neuroengineering, as well as experience in a similar position are a huge plus
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, experienced in interacting with scientists
- Willingness to travel up to ~40%
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment
