Senior Software Engineer Azure IoT

Berne, Geneva, Vaud, Zurich 60% to 100% Open-ended

As part of project teams, you will be responsible for the design and development of IoT solutions. You will work in collaboration with other teams to implement IoT solutions from start to finish. These include integrating sensors into our Azure Framework, developing gateways, protocols and Azure Cloud services at both the edge and backend and creating the frontend. Security is a fundamental aspect that is considered at all levels.

Your skills
  • Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in Computer Science, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent professional experience
  • Expertise in software development and architecture of scalable solutions as part of a development team
  • Proficient in C# /.NET
  • Solid and demonstrable experience with cloud infrastructures based on Microsoft Azure; certifications from the vendor are advantageous
What makes you stand out
  • Experience with containers and Kubernetes is preferred
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and web UI is a plus
  • Experience with automated deployments of cloud infrastructures and application code
  • Very good English and good German, Italian or French
