Reporting to the Mexico Technology & Engineering Center (MXTEC) Manager, you will work closely with the Canadian Minning project teams to prepare, distribute, and store all project documentation accurately and in a timely fashion. You will follow ABB and project’s procedures to ensure effective version control and status tracking. Also, you will be responsible of all the administration activities of the MXTEC office in Merida. You will be the first point of contact for all general matters.
Your responsibilities
- Manages documentation to ensure proper version control in the document management system. Ensures that documentation is maintained in compliance with the ABB's and project’s procedures, including format, receipt, registration, number, filing, recovery, and the issue of documents.
- Contributes to process improvements related to document management and applies the document management system efficiently.
- Participates actively in the implementation of a global document management application.
- Takes care of the office suppliers, services, visitors or staff in the office.
- Responsible for internal reporting according to set processes.
- Cooperates with project controllers, supports invoicing process, purchase requisitions, etc.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in administration or engineering or related.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office software programs.
- Fluent English is needed.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint is desirable.
- An experience in a receptionist role / customer service face to face is a plus.
- Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively within many levels of the company as well as with individuals outside the company.
- Strong multitasking and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and punctually.
