In this position, you will be responsible for the local Division Service in the Motion Business Germany with the areas of Drives, Motors and Generators and ensure the business and growth targets in the domestic market. Your responsibilities
- Drive sustainable profitable growth and budget fulfillment to develop the Motion Service Business, leading in the market with particular compliance with results targets. Regularly monitor and initiate actions and measures as required in an innovative and differential way.
- Prepare the business plan and, based on this, prepare the budget key data for the respective budget year in terms of incoming orders, sales, personnel, and results.
- Maintain and build customer relationships to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Develop channel partners to enhance business reach.
- Provide active input into the Motion Service strategy of the global division and strategy development of the local unit in collaboration with the local management team with a continuous improvement approach.
- Develop, implement, and execute the service strategy in Germany.
- Develop and market service products meeting customer needs and providing unique selling points on the market, ensuring sustainable, successful business development.
- Conduct regional market analysis, monitor and evaluate market opportunities, and derive appropriate measures in line with the strategy, such as channel development.
- Accompany and drive improvement processes, monitoring sustainable implementation and continuously developing work processes.
- Ensure the execution of projects according to the agreed objectives in terms of schedule, quality, financial results, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead teams with a focus on employee engagement, motivation, and development. Personnel planning and compliance with personnel policies are key objectives.
- Implement HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and business compliance standards and regulations within the units. Ensure a safe working environment, continuous HSE improvement processes, and integrity performance. Personally live the ABB values and Group standards.
- Infuse creativity into service strategies, product development, and problem-solving approaches to differentiate offerings in the market.
- Actively engage in talent attraction and retention initiatives, collaborating with HR to identify and onboard top talent to support business objectives.
Your background
- Successfully completed commercial or technical studies.
- Many years of professional experience with a focus on sales and service, along with several years of management experience in large organizations.
- Strong background in Automation and Motion business. Excellent Market and customer knowledge and sharp business development skills.
- Solid experience in multinational organizations and multicultural business environments.
- Knowledge of global ABB Sales and Service Units is an advantage.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20-30%.
