The Accounting Policies department is responsible for the group's international accounting policies according to IFRS and for accounting-relevant projects within the group.
Aufgabenfeld
- Development of the group's IFRS accounting policies
- International contact person for recognition, measurement, and disclosure issues according to IFRS
- Supporting our subsidiaries and specialist departments in implementing the statutory IFRS accounting requirements
- Preparing position papers for the assessment of complex accounting issues according to IFRS
- Contact person for our auditors
Anforderungsprofil
- Completed degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on accounting/auditing or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in an auditing firm (preferably one of the Big Four) or in the accounting department of an international corporation
- Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of international accounting standards
- Independent and responsible working style, strong team and communication skills, and confident demeanor
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German skills are an advantage
