In your position as a Technical Analyst on the Platform Services team at UniCredit, you will be responsible for several applications and develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the bank’s objectives. You will work closely with business units, IT teams, and external partners to ensure seamless integration of digital technologies into the banking ecosystem.

Key tasks and responsabilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of our current IT systems and infrastructure within the Platform Services team environment.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for system enhancements and integration, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze requirements, design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs.
• Provide 3rd level support and engage with support stakeholders.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Guide the design and execution of new IT projects, including software development, system upgrades, and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in IT security and data management.
• Work with Scrum and other Agile methodologies.
• Work in an international and stimulating environment.

What you'll need to succeed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical analysis role within the banking or financial services industry.
• Java experience with proven experience in using Java frameworks (in particular Spring Boot, Java EE) and application servers (e.g. Apache Tomcat, IBM Web Sphere or JBoss)
• Proficient in data analysis, system integration, and project management.
• Good knowledge in Oracle or other relational SQL databases
• Experience with Microservices Architecture
• Familiarity with GIT and Jenkins in DevOps environment
• Very good communication skills
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Google Cloud; Microsoft Azure) is considered a plus.
• Proficient in English language
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• You are dynamic, energetic, and passionate about technology.
