The ABB Ausbildungszentrum Berlin gGmbH is an educational service provider of ABB Germany for dual vocational training. The focus of the vocational training lies in the areas of metal and electrical engineering as well as mechatronics. We support our customers from the ABB business units as well as approx. 150 cooperation companies from Berlin and Brandenburg with modern and high-quality basic training for their apprentices. Qualified and committed trainers, who use innovative teaching methods and individual support for the trainees to convey the technical content, but also social skills, are the basis of our success! Your responsibilities
- Carrying out the practical and theoretical training of trainees in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, microprocessor technology and KNX bus technology
- Imparting knowledge and skills in accordance with the training ordinance and internal training plan as well as conducting performance appraisals of trainees
- Supporting trainees in preparing for exams and in company and external projects
- Supporting trainees in the development of technical, methodological and social competence
- Cooperation with the cooperating companies, the vocational schools and the responsible chambers of industry and commerce
- Preparing and implementing new teaching and learning concepts in relation to digitization
Your background
- Completed training as an electronics technician
- Ideally further training as a state-certified technician or master craftsperson
- Several years of professional experience
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers, electronics, microprocessor technology and KNX bus technology
- Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Very good computer skills
- Good written and spoken English and German skills are desirable
- Independent and self-reliant way of working as well as willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team and empathy
